Standard Paste Pointe Shoe Collection
Suffolk® Standard Paste Pointe Shoes offer a balanced combination of support, flexibility, stability, and articulation. Engineered by Suffolk® and handcrafted in England, this collection brings together many of the elements dancers look for in a versatile pointe shoe.
Made using traditional turn shoe materials, the toe box is stitched to the back of the sole to allow flexibility through the back of the foot. Standard Paste in the toe box and wings provides structure and support to help the dancer find proper placement and maintain alignment en pointe.
The Standard Collection also features Suffolk®’s distinctive
heel curve, designed to create a tailored silhouette that hugs the foot.
The combination of strength and flexibility allows dancers to roll through demi-pointe with ease, maintain contact with the floor, and articulate naturally through the foot. The construction also helps support proper placement and can help prevent unwanted twisting of the shank. The insole is not glued or tacked beyond the point where the arch breaks, creating the flexibility and feel often associated with a 3/4 shoe while maintaining the strength of a full insole.

The Sonnet® also features our dramatic heel curve for a sleek silhouette that hugs a lower profile foot. Ideal for dancers who prefer a shoe that has a low profile, low compression, semi-tapered shape, and a medium platform.
SOMERSET™
Incorporating Suffolk's patented design and handmade on a Cambered last, the Somerset™ provides a perfect blend of strength and flexibility. Ideal for dancers who prefer a shoe that has a medium profile, medium compression, rectangular shape, and a medium/broad platform. The dual-camber shape of the Somerset™ also eliminates the need to "break-in" a shoe before wear.
