Suffolk Professional Pointe Shoes are designed for advanced, pre-professional, and professional dancers who have established pointe technique and are looking for a refined combination of performance, responsiveness, support, and control.
Engineered by Suffolk and handcrafted in England, the Professional Collection reflects the experience and craftsmanship behind almost 3 decades of Suffolk pointe shoe development. Each model is individually designed with the demands of experienced dancers in mind, offering its own balance of support, flexibility, responsiveness, and feel.
Sorella, Sherwood, and Legacy each have their own distinct construction and performance characteristics, giving experienced dancers different options within the Suffolk Professional Collection. Our Professional paste is Suffolk’s formula for the paste traditionally used in British turn shoes. It allows the box to mold beautifully to the dancer’s foot. The insole is not glued or tacked beyond the point where the arch breaks, creating the flexibility and feel often associated with a 3/4 shoe while maintaining the strength of a full insole.
