Corps de Ballet Pointe Shoe Collection | Suffolk Dance
The lightweight shoes in the Corps de Ballet Collection are made in the traditional turn shoe method. The toe box is stitched to the back of the sole, enabling flexibility at the back of the shoe. This stitching method also allows the dancer to articulate their foot completely. Pointe shoes in this collection feature the strong and stable Suffolk® platform. The insole of shoes in this collection are not glued or tacked after the point where the arch breaks, which gives the benefit of a 3/4 shoe, but the strength of a full insole.
Due to the flexibility and support of the shoe, dancers will find that pointe shoes from the Corps de Ballet Collection allow rolling through demi pointe with ease, assist in balance due to the broad platform, and allow maximum contact with the floor.
Shoes in this collection are perfect for beginning to intermediate dancers that are lightweight and can pull up out of the shoe and advanced or professional dancers that want a lightweight, flexible shoe that almost gives the appearance of a soft shoe and allows them to show off their feet.
