From the young dancer going en pointe for the very first time, to the elite professional ballerina, we have a range of pointe shoes and styles to fit the needs of every dancer. Read more about our collections below:
The Company Shoe Collection features a range of custom, classic turn shoes. The dancer selects the correct shape shoe for her foot, and then customizes every element of the shoe, from basic measurements like the vamp, side, and heel to more complex components like tilt of the platform, shank construction, and pasting method. Suffolk offers eight last shapes, and specializes in listening to the dancer to create a shoe that meets her individual needs.
Pointe shoes in this collection are made in the traditional turn shoe method. Using techniques exclusive to Suffolk, this style offers the dancer a very consistent shoe, made to the same specifications time after time. In keeping with turn shoe tradition, the toe box is stitched into the side of the sole, enabling the dancer to have
more flexibility at the back of her foot. All of our shoe lasts have been created with the modern foot shapes in mind, ensuring we have kept the best of tradition, while incorporating the needs of the modern dancer. The shoes offered in this collection are Spotlight, Status, and Sterling.
Pointe shoes in this collection are made from the same materials as our Corps de Ballet shoes, but are more substantial in weight. The toebox is strong and stable with extra support that extends through to the back of the foot. The platform is shaped four times during the drying process to ensure a super flat finish. The last shapes are created to accommodate the modern foot, ensuring correct fit and alignment.
Made without compromise, these long-lasting shoes are strong, comfortable and an ideal workhorse for the dancer. The shoes are available in nine width fittings and different insole strengths, which give the dancer the exact fit she needs. The shoes offered in this collection are Solo, Solo Prequel, Stellar, and Sovereign.
